FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Fair Trade is the heart of the Coffee Retailer’s
standard for high quality coffee beans
Atlanta, Georgia – July
12,2020 – Coffee Retailer will continue to focus on its core
value of using fair trade to aid farmers in developing countries as they
continue to produce high quality coffee beans for its customers (Fair Trade
Certified, n.d.). For over twenty years Coffee Retailer has supported the
economical development of farmers, their workers, and families, to sustain
healthy working conditions and create economic growth for communities. Fair
trade has been the backbone of Coffee Retailers mission for building a
community that focuses on encouraging personal, career, and relational growth
for everyone involved including customers, team members and producers.
In their continuous
efforts to produce high quality coffee beans, Coffee Retailer has produced
annual progress reports to inform the public on the progress of working
conditions for farmers and their workers. The company has continued to provide
training and educational opportunities for workers who wish to establish their
own trades. Coffee Retailer understands that fair trade does not only impact
farmers but their families and communities as well, and the company has
established educational programs for the youth in these communities. Coffee
Retailer has committed to providing an annual scholarship opportunity for
qualifying children of farmers and workers.
As Coffee Retailer
remains faithful to their standards of ethical practices within their corporate
facility and fair-trade partnerships, they will continue to focus on projects that
encourage diversity and new ideas from all parties to help maintain a trusting,
fair, and productive environment for all involved (Sherman, 2018).
